Why am I running to represent Hillsboro's Ward Three?

I am an experienced elected official for a previous municipality!

Unfortunately, when the seat was recently vacated, nobody registered to serve on the Hillsboro Board of Alderpersons to represent Ward Three interests.  As someone who has served in a similar elected capacity before, I have volunteered to represent our ward to prevent any opportunists from seeking this office to promote their special interests over the needs of our community.

Uncontested seats on municipal boards and councils are always an attractive opportunity for special interest groups!

Hillsboro faces some tough challenges ahead, and we could use the experience of someone ready to lead!

What values will I bring to the office?

• As a husband, father, and son of Hillsboro residents, I represent the family values of members of our community.
• As an experienced entrepreneur, I represent the interests of our small business members of our community.
• As an innovative education administrator, I represent the interests important to our local schools and community college partners.
  
• As an eight-year resident of Ward Three's largest housing development off of Brickyard Road, I'll hold our developer's accountable for responsible management of our association resources.
  
• As a leader committed to the future of Hillsboro, I will look for opportunities to improve our community services, without jeopardizing the ability of our taxpayers to thrive.
